This is continued in the content below.

This time, I’m going to show what’s in Airtable on a site using Softr

For testing, I’ll make a sipmle modification to the content in Airtable

Then create a site in Softr.

You can set the default pages, and I chose Home, List.

When you select a list on the list page, you’ll see the settings on the right.
On the Source tab, you can connect Airtable.

Once connected, you’ll see the preview display the information you entered in Airtable.
If you don’t have any information, it will default to the default values.

Now I want to go to the detail page from the list and get an answer.
And I’m going to save the answer back to Airtable.

In the settings on the right, go to Actions.
And under Item Buttons, change the actions.
I’ve selected Open detail pages.

In Select page, decide to create a new page.
Then select your favorite Detail Page.

Once the page is created, add a Comments block.

Connect Airtable to the created Comments block.

Before that, connect to Airtable and create a new table, since we can’t use the existing one.
I created it as ‘Table — Comment’.

Then modify the fields to suit your needs.
I created Email, Comment, Date, and RecordId.

Once gotten this far, go back to Softr and connect Airtable in the Comments block, Source.

Now go back to Softr and connect Airtable in the Comment blocks, Source

Now I am going to the test it out.

Softr offers a Preview, but only logged in accounts can leave comment.
So I am going to create a user.

Go to the Users button on the left.

You can connect your user information with Airtable or other services, but I’ll skip that here.

Create a user via Add user(s) button in the top right corner.

Now go back to Pages and navigate to your list page.

Then press the Preview button at the top to go into preview mode.

You can login in from preview.

Click the button at the top to login in as the user you created earlier.

Try pressing the button in the list.
This will take you to the detail page we created earlier.

Then leave a comment.

It is finished.

Now go to Airtable and check to see if the answer is left well.
